The Office of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector was proudly represented at the ChamberSOUTH ribbon cutting for Yoga Joint in Pinecrest, joining local leaders, business advocates, and members of the community in welcoming a new business to the area. Director Cristina Raposo represented the Tax Collector’s Office at the celebration, alongside Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia and other community leaders.
The ribbon cutting, organized by Ricardo Alberty, Executive Director of ChamberSOUTH, highlighted the important role local businesses play in strengthening neighborhoods, creating opportunities, and contributing to Miami-Dade County’s economy. Events like these also provide an opportunity for government offices, chambers of commerce, and entrepreneurs to build relationships that help support a strong local business environment.
“Supporting our business community means being present for the entrepreneurs who invest in Miami-Dade and create opportunities for others,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “I am proud that members of our team continue representing our office throughout the community and supporting the businesses and organizations that help our neighborhoods grow.”
Fernandez emphasized that public service extends beyond the transactions completed at Tax Collector offices. Maintaining a visible presence in the community allows the office to stay connected with business owners, understand their experiences, and reinforce its commitment to providing efficient and accessible service to entrepreneurs throughout the county.
The Office of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector thanked ChamberSOUTH, Ricardo Alberty, Yoga Joint, and everyone who participated in the ribbon cutting. The office looks forward to continuing to build strong relationships with the local business community and supporting the entrepreneurs whose investments help move Miami-Dade forward.
