The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) has updated its Acceptable Documents Table regarding individuals with El Salvador Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Under the updated guidance, qualifying individuals may be issued credentials through March 9, 2027, provided they meet eligibility requirements and present valid documentation confirming lawful presence as required by law.
Under the updated FLHSMV guidance, the applicable issuance date is March 9, 2027. Our office will continue to follow any additional guidance or clarification provided by FLHSMV.
Residents are encouraged to review the applicable FLHSMV guidance and consult the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for the most current federal information regarding TPS eligibility and documentation requirements.
