Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez attended a luncheon hosted by the Doral Hispanic Women Chamber of Commerce, spending time with women entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals who are creating opportunities and contributing to the economic strength of Miami-Dade County.

The gathering provided an opportunity to recognize the growing impact of Hispanic women in South Florida’s business community. From launching small businesses to leading established organizations, women entrepreneurs continue creating jobs, supporting families, investing in their communities, and helping shape the future of Miami-Dade’s economy.

“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I believe entrepreneurship should always be encouraged and supported,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “The women in this room represent leadership, determination, and the willingness to take an idea and build something from it. When our entrepreneurs succeed, they create opportunities that extend far beyond one business and strengthen our entire community.”

Fernandez also emphasized the importance of maintaining strong communication between government and the business community. As the office responsible for Local Business Tax Receipts, the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office interacts directly with entrepreneurs throughout the county and remains committed to making the process clearer, more efficient, and easier to navigate.

Fernandez thanked Roxana Silvera, President and CEO of the Doral Hispanic Women Chamber of Commerce, for her leadership and continued dedication to the business community. He also recognized the entrepreneurs and professionals in attendance for their contributions to Miami-Dade County.
