Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Mount Sinai Westchester Emergency Department, celebrating an important investment in healthcare access for families across Miami-Dade County and South Florida. During the ceremony, Fernandez presented an Honorary Citation recognizing the milestone and Mount Sinai Medical Center’s continued commitment to the community.
The new emergency department will expand access to high-quality emergency care, advanced medical technology, and 24-hour services. Fernandez highlighted the importance of investments that bring essential services closer to residents while strengthening the infrastructure communities depend on every day.
