Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez joined ChamberSOUTH for the ribbon cutting of Las Rocas Climbing & Fitness, a new locally owned business founded by lifelong friends and Miami natives Jesse Seitz and Kamal Daghistani. The opening marked an exciting new chapter for two entrepreneurs who turned a shared passion for climbing into a business designed to serve and engage the Miami-Dade community.
Las Rocas Climbing & Fitness represents the kind of local investment that helps strengthen neighborhoods and expand opportunities for residents. New businesses create jobs, attract customers, support surrounding commerce, and contribute to the economic activity that keeps Miami-Dade growing.
“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I believe supporting small businesses means supporting the people who are willing to invest their time, resources, and ideas right here in our community,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Jesse and Kamal took something they are passionate about and turned it into an opportunity to build a business, create jobs, and offer something new to Miami-Dade. Fernandez also recognized the important role organizations such as ChamberSOUTH play in supporting entrepreneurs and helping local businesses establish connections within the community. As the office responsible for Local Business Tax Receipts, the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office continues working to provide entrepreneurs with clear information, efficient service, and the support they need to navigate the process of doing business in the county.
Fernandez congratulated Jesse Seitz, Kamal Daghistani, and the entire Las Rocas Climbing & Fitness team on the grand opening and thanked ChamberSOUTH for continuing to support Miami-Dade’s business community.
