Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez visited the Town of Bay Harbor Islands alongside Andrew Lopez, Director of Motorist Services, for a meeting with Mayor Isaac Salver and Town Manager Lindsley Noel focused on strengthening coordination and identifying new ways to better serve local residents.
The discussion centered on the importance of maintaining close relationships between the Tax Collector’s Office and municipalities throughout Miami-Dade County. By staying connected with local leaders, the office can better understand the specific needs of each community, share information about available services, and identify opportunities to bring assistance closer to residents.
“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I believe good government starts with strong communication and a willingness to work together,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Every municipality has its own needs, and meeting directly with local leaders helps us better understand how we can serve residents more efficiently and make government more accessible.”
Fernandez also highlighted the office’s continued efforts to expand access through initiatives such as TConnect, community outreach, and additional service options designed to make it easier for residents to connect with the Tax Collector’s Office. He emphasized that partnerships with municipalities are an important part of ensuring that public services remain responsive to the communities they serve.
Fernandez thanked Mayor Isaac Salver, Town Manager Lindsley Noel, and the Town of Bay Harbor Islands for the warm welcome and productive conversation. He looks forward to continuing the partnership and exploring additional opportunities to bring efficient, convenient, and accessible Tax Collector services closer to residents throughout Bay Harbor Islands and Miami-Dade County.
