Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez met with City of North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme to discuss new initiatives, available services, and opportunities for continued collaboration between the Tax Collector’s Office and the City of North Miami.
Fernandez emphasized that maintaining strong relationships with municipal leaders helps the Tax Collector’s Office better understand the priorities of individual communities and identify practical ways to make government services more accessible and convenient for residents.
“Strong local partnerships allow us to listen directly to the communities we serve and find better ways to bring government closer to the people,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Working with Mayor Desulme gives us an opportunity to understand North Miami’s needs and continue identifying solutions that make our services easier for residents to access.”
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss ways both offices can continue sharing information, coordinating outreach, and exploring new initiatives that respond to the needs of North Miami residents. Fernandez noted that direct communication with municipal governments remains an important part of improving how services are delivered throughout Miami-Dade County.
Fernandez thanked Mayor Alix Desulme and the City of North Miami for the conversation and their continued collaboration. He reaffirmed the Tax Collector’s commitment to a simple mission: listen, collaborate, and continue finding solutions that put residents first.
