Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez and the Office of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector will partner with Farm Share to host a Drive-Thru Food Distribution on Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Coral Reef Tax Collector Office.
The distribution will provide fresh food and groceries to families throughout the community on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The event reflects the Tax Collector’s continued commitment to using its offices not only as locations for essential government services, but also as spaces where residents can connect with resources that can make a difference in their daily lives.
“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I believe our responsibility to the public extends beyond the transactions we complete every day,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Our offices are part of the communities we serve, and whenever we have an opportunity to open our doors and connect families with valuable resources, we should do it.”
Fernandez thanked Farm Share for its partnership and continued work providing food assistance to families throughout South Florida. He also recognized the employees, volunteers, and community partners helping make the distribution possible and encouraged residents who may benefit from the event to attend.
